Day 1

ITINERARY

Pick-up from your hotel at 04:00 am for a 3 hour trip via private car or minibus to the start of the trail at Quesiuno community (4326 m.a.s.l), here we will have our breakfast, after breakfast we are going to start with the trekking of 3 - 4 hours approx. we will pass by beautiful herds of alpacas and llamas and along the way we have distant views of the Ausangate Mountain. If we are very lucky we may see some chinchillas and Vicuñas. After a total hike of approximately 4 hours, we reach the incredible Rainbow Mountain (5200 m.a.s.l.) you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. After the amazing view of the landscapes on the top we are going to dawn to be beginning of our trekking point, that take 3 to 4 hours approx. here we will have a lunch and then we will take our transport back to Cusco.
