Tour planning:

Day 1

Cusco – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

Pick-up from your hotel between 06:00 to 07:00 a.m. at our private car and then travel to the Sacred Valley Urubamba and Ollantaytambo where we will make a short stop to buy a snack continue our journey of pure ascent until Abra Malaga 4400 meters, where the Amazonian jungle star and brief stop to see the snow-capped Veronica and Salkantay, from this place we will begin the descent through the high forest to Santa Maria and the the Aobamba river valley to Santa Teresa, here we will make one stop for lunch in a restaurant. After a journey of 30 minutes we will arrive to Hydroelectric so that we start the trek to Aguas Calientes, this walk is for an average of 3 hours (11 km) and on the distance we have a view of Huayna Picchu and some buildings in the Inca city of Machu Picchu. Arrive to Aguas Calientes approximately at 17:00 pm. Night at the hotel in Aguas Calientes. (L.D.)

Day 2

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Hydroelectric – Cusco

Very early after breakfast and start the ascent to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, this hike will last approximately 02 hours, arriving to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu where our local guide will make us a tour visiting the most important parts, after you will have free time to explore the Inca citadel yourselves. Finally, we return to Aguas Calientes arriving around 12:00 hours and take our train back to Hydroelectric, where our bus will be waiting to bring them back to Cusco, arrived at 21:00 hours approximately.
