Description:

The Colca Canyon, located to the North of the City of Arequipa, with an enormous valley with beautiful natural landscapes, innumerable terraces that date from times pre colombinas, and a river called itself, located to a depth of 3140 meters. Throughout the way the visitors will be able to delight with beautiful natural scenes, as much as the existing fauna in the zone, such as flocks of Vicunas, flames and alpacas, several types of birds, in which the giant colibríes, eagles, gansos and the majestic Andean Condor stand out.

Day 1

Arequipa – San Juan of Chuccho

Tourist transport is going to pick you up from your hotel between 03:00 – 03:30 a.m. Deperture from Arequipa (2325 m.a.s.l)directly to Chivay (3,623 m.a.s.l); after 3.30 hrs driving we have one stop in Chivay to enjoy a breakfast, later we continue to the most visited point "La Cruz del Condor" where we spend our time to see the Condors flying, then we go on with the bus for 30 minutes to Cabanacode, where we start the trek down hill but before we have a lunch in this town.
After lunch the trekking down hill starts from( 3300mt) to reach the bottom ( 3 hours and a half aproximatly) at the altitude of 2100 mt (San Juan de Chuccho) Dinner and over night in San Juan de Chuccho village (place of tropical enviroment with a lot of vegetation); the accommodation here is in basic rooms (local family places). Day 2

San Juan of Chuccho – Sangalle Village

After breakfast we continue to Cosñirhua town; its a nice place where you can see and taste honney, production made by local people. it is possible to see arqueological remains around the area left by pre - Inca cultures. Going on flat we reach Malata town with its very old spanish church design; then we descent to the deepest part of our trek 1900 mt. “Sangalle Village ", Place to enjoy the swimming pool 20º C of temperatured water. Dinner and Over night in bungalows made of bamboo. (B.L.D.)

Day 3

Sangalle Village – Cabanaconde – Colca Canyon – Arequipa

03:00 hrs Trek up hill to Cabanaconde (3 hours aproximatly). a.m. Arrival and breakfast in Cabanaconde to take our transport to Chivay. Arrival to Chivay toward the hot springs "la Calera", 38°C. Temperature. p.m. Typical lunch of the region.
Transport back to Arequipa. On the way we descend from 4830 a.s.l. to 2 325 a.s.l. and passing through a Nacional Reserve and Pampa Cañahuas habit of the four kind of south American camelides. (Llama, alpaca, vicuña and huanaco) arrival to Arequipa. (B.)
